Workplace & Site Inspections questions we are asked
- How often should site inspections be conducted?
- It depends on the risk, the pace of change on site and any requirements set by your client or your own system. Fast-changing construction sites often warrant weekly or fortnightly inspection; a stable low-risk workplace may be quarterly. Whatever the frequency, it should be documented in your system and actually met.
- Do you need site access and inductions?
- Yes. Tell us the induction requirements when you book and we will complete them beforehand so the visit is not spent in the site office.
- Will you speak with our workers?
- With your agreement, yes. Speaking with the people doing the work is usually where the most useful information comes from, and it is done respectfully and without singling anyone out.
